WaveTracer™
TEOM’s patented WaveTracer™ Platform transforms existing 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi and tactical radio infrastructure into a powerful, software-defined sensing layer with limitless applications from equipping humanoid robotics with spatial intelligence to identifying the distinct identifying the distinct RF signature of drones, making them identifiable even when disguised, hidden, surrounded by aerial clutter, or controlled by fiber optic cables.
By analysing how radio waves are reflected, absorbed or blocked by objects in a given area, WaveTracer generates real-time spatial intelligence without the need for cameras, LIDAR, tags or sensor-laden assets.
WaveTracer acts as a localised yet centralised sensor: spatially aware of what is happening across a defined area and utilising the existing deployed radio infrastructure. This architectural approach significantly reduces the need to deploy, manage and maintain dense networks of distributed sensors, lowering system complexity, cost and operational overhead.
Unlike traditional sensing stacks that rely on multiple hardware modalities, WaveTracer enables any object to be classified, identified and tracked using the object’s unique radio wave fingerprint. This provides a “world-view” sensing capability where optical or line-of sight technologies struggle, while remaining infrastructure-light and privacy preserving.
WaveTracer can be a foundational sensor for Physical AI, or augment existing sensor networks to create more comprehensive intelligence. WaveTracer provides a persistent, ambient 3D understanding of space that can be consumed by AI systems, digital twins and autonomous platforms.
