TEOM is beyond disruptive. Physical AI is the embodiment of AI through robotics and autonomous machines and is set to be a huge part of the future in industrial and defence markets. The world is only beginning to uncover the potential of physical AI, and TEOM’s WaveTracer™ platform provides the foundational sensing capability to power that transformation.
WaveTracer is a patented technology that transforms everyday radio waves into an ambient volumetric sensor that creates a holistic view of the real world and provides the critical layer of spatial intelligence for Physical AI applications.
It measures how radio waves are reflected, blocked or absorbed by objects to know what’s happening in real time. It senses movement, presence or changes in the space to detect, identify and monitor any object – a robot, a person or a pile of materials.
WaveTracer also builds a continually evolving proprietary AI data set capturing the physical environment and everything in it, which enables the vital spatial intelligence that makes it technically and economically possible to track, inform and empower anything.
What’s it good for?
TEOM is fundamentally a dual-use technology, built for both commercial and defence environments. It gives physical AI a complete world view—recognizing any object, spaces, and changes in real time. Unlike today’s expensive, power-hungry, compute-intensive autonomous systems, WaveTracer delivers a lightweight, scalable solution.
In security, a 5G tower becomes more than a node of connectivity—it transforms into a security dome. Acting as non-photographic security “eyes”, WaveTracer detects whether a human, a drone, a weapon, even a simple plastic bucket in that environment has entered the space.
All this happens without embedding intelligence in the objects themselves. WaveTracer extends spatial awareness across any environment - indoors or outdoors - providing the critical foundation for Physical AI.
